"The King" says he is too busy to play for Team USA during the World Championships in Turkey this summer.

Really? This is supposed to be the Captain of the team and now he can't fit it in his off season schedule to lead this team to another Medal.

I don't blame him... He's played the past summers and more than likely his team will be going deep into the playoffs again this season. He needs a break for other commitments IMO. I have no issue with him not playing at all...

He is doing a lot of other things this summer. He doesn't have time. Not that big of a deal. He won us a gold medal. He never has to play with us again.

not a big deal to me, if plays into june and then has free agency to deal with, leaves little time for him to rest for next season. d-wade probably won't play either which might give crash a chance which would bring attention to our team

LeBron's been goin hard ever since he's been in the league. If he wants to take the summer off to focus on free agency and other obligations, I dont see nothing wrong with that. As long as he's committed to playing in 2012 Olympics, which as far as I know he is, its all that should matter.

if he's not doing the world championship, he shouldn't be allowed to compete in the olympics. i mean no one is saying he has to play 40 mpg, if he wants he can sit on the bench as a reserve.

if i remember correctly they specifically said if people skip the world championship without a good reason, they would not be eligible for the olympics. and i don't think not feeling like it is a good reason.
