Ok, picture this.

A multi-billionaire purchases the team after the former owner is accused of sexual harassment allegations.

Little does anyone know, the new owner's niece was one of the victims.

In order to extract his revenge, he hires a 3rd rate college basketball coach who is WILDLY unqualified in an attempt to run the team into the ground and relocate the team in a more ideal location.

The team preserves and defies all odds winning the SuperBowl as the underdogs against the 16-0 opponents, largely in part due to the other team's extremely reliable historically legend kicker inexplicably kicking the ball out of bounds on a kickoff late in the 4th quarter, leading to a Panthers drive to seal the deal!

Charmed with the success of his newly owned the, the owner's heart grows 3x the size that day and decides to give away cars to all the fans in the stadium that day!

Anyway we can somehow make the plot of 50 first dates into a Panthers themed movie?

Plot: each season, my memory loss/amnesia kicks in and I forget how awful the Panthers are. After watching them suck and swearing to never watch them again, I forget and repeat it all over again each season. Happy ending is when they finally win a Superbowl as the world is coming to an end.

Honestly, when I watched Ted Lasso the first time and the owner revealed her motivations for hiring a goody 3rd rate college championship coach, I immediately felt like I was hearing the Panthers and Tepper story.

My mind jogged why Tepper would have some petty beef with Richardson, and my first thought was Tepper having a niece that was an employee on staff and participated in jeans Friday.
