yeah I would definitely take our board know it all fat guys intel over Thielen's any day of the week since Thielen said he had confidence in Bryce last season as obviously our board know it all fat guys have never gotten anything wrong in their lives other than thinking their summer swim suit actually looked good stretched across their hairy bellies like a dozen soggy jelly donuts stuffed in a used condom

Translation please

Yes, and I'm 100% serious here, as far as I'm concerned they would be better off saying absolutely nothing from now until week 1.

If it was up to the players and coaches they prob wouldn’t say much of anything… but there’s billions of dollars in media contracts with obligations to fill.  Articles like this one aren’t written cause Adam called a reporter with something to say.

This place is hilarious.  Huddle, Keep on Huddling!

I'm looking forward to seeing what the team does this season.  Am I expecting one extreme or another?  No.  Somewhere in the low middle of expectations.

You just have to look at the business of the NFL and media.  There's a reason there's a ton of pressers during OTAs and mini camp because it sells clicks.  Just don't read it if it sets you off.

So whatever.  Let's see how things go.  My hope is that the Panthers are better, Bryce is better, our new additions make plays, and we can be hopeful for the future.

lol exactly. Adam is on a show and they ask about Bryce, huddle expects him to say: Well we suck, and I owe it to the Huddle to not speak a word. Thanks for having me on!

I think this may be a little more precise lol.

Maybe talk more about Brown or the usual long shot to make the roster fluff? After last year's massive PR bungles focusing on Young as little as possible would be a mercy to everyone. I get there isn't a lot to positive to focus on until they start winning games, or not, but that's kind of the point of the people who see that department as a endless crap pump. Making fun of what they usually put out is way too easy and it's about the only entertainment they are providing anymore until something actually changes.

Rich Eisen: “How is Bryce Young looking right now after his season, Adam?”

You wanted him to deflect and talk about Derrick Brown or roster long-shots? What? Clearly you didn’t click the link in the OP or watch the interview if you think “they” (the Panthers) put this out. It’s an NBCSports article that references an interview Thielen did recently on the Rich Eisen show where he was asked a direct question about Bryce Young. So who exactly is running PR for the Panthers here? NBCSports? Or Rich Eisen?

Did you not read the post before mine? Cynicism being well earned.

No I didn't listen to it or any of the other fluff. I also wasn't speaking about this specific link since I never referenced Thielen or the article in my post. The fact a WR from this team went and sat down, I presume, for an interview is Panther related and looks to be getting plenty of spillover from what I was talking about. So much so that on the first page it was being discussed about everyone 'should say absolutely nothing' which would encompass Thielen's interview individually and the Panther's organization in general. And even how absurd it is to 'shut down the Panther's PR/Marketing department' on page two even though as you state it was obviously not a direct PR department product.

So maybe take your own advice next time? IDGAF about the article and wasn't commenting on it which I thought was obvious by not referencing it in any direct way.

I think most of it, not this particular thing, but the predominant fluff is spammed to this board by the team.

Most people are not fans of the team PR because the team is never any fuging good after listening to all their unrealistic optimistic bullshit the entire offseason.
