Training camp dates announced

Fans will be able to attend the 14 Charlotte-based practices for free. However, like last summer, those fans will need to register with Ticketmaster — starting July 9 — to enter the workouts due to attendance limits. The Fan Fest practice at Clemson — taking place at Memorial Stadium on Thursday, August 1 — will cost $5 with tickets on sale on June 21. All proceeds from Fan Fest will benefit Carolina Panthers charities. Below is the full schedule for training camp (dates and times are subject to change; all practices are set to take place in Charlotte outside of Fan Fest): ▪

Wednesday, July 24: 9:30 a.m. ▪

Thursday, July 25: 9:30 a.m. ▪

Saturday, July 27: “Back Together Saturday,” 9:30 a.m. ▪

Monday, July 29: 9:30 a.m. ▪

Tuesday, July 30: 9:30 a.m. ▪

Thursday, Aug. 1: Fan Fest at Clemson, 6:30 p.m. ($5 admission, tickets on sale June 21) ▪

Saturday, Aug. 3: 11:10 a.m. ▪

Sunday, Aug. 4: 9:30 a.m. ▪

Monday, Aug. 5: 9:30 a.m. ▪

Tuesday, Aug. 6: 9:30 a.m. ▪

Saturday, Aug. 10: 11:10 a.m. ▪

Sunday, Aug. 11: 9:30 a.m. ▪

Monday, Aug. 12: 9:30 a.m. ▪

Wednesday, Aug. 14: 9:30 a.m. ▪

Thursday, Aug. 15: Joint practice with Jets, 9:30 a.m.

Can someone here who goes do a write up with how camp is set up these days? Wofford was great from a fan perspective, curious to see how this compares. With Tepper being behind it my guess is it’ll suck

I can tell you right off the bat going to the stadium or whatever the hell they will do will not feel the same.. At Wofford you feel closer to the practice by being so close to the fields.. you also have easy access to the players for potential autographs and pictures. I have no idea how the setup will be and I am sure they will charge for parking.. it was totally free at Wofford..so I am curious too.. debating on whether to go this year..

I believe I saw a comment on Twitter saying they'll have temporary bleachers for camp and limited attendance but there wasn't a solid number so who knows if it's a couple hundred or a couple thousand. Seems kinda rushed

You mean  fresh rolled out turf.. that smells like moldy ass!!

Sitting on some metal bleachers in 90 degree heat on plastic turf sounds horrid lol. I know Wofford was hot but I'd prefer the grass hill over bleachers any day. Only upside to the new site is maybe being able to get a better view of the actual practice and it being a pain in the ass for security to stop people from filming.

yeah I’ve been to Wofford I think 3 times and absolutely loved it. I don’t know anything about the new set up but can’t imagine it’ll be anywhere near as good as Wofford was. Sad

Time stamped for this convo of the practice facility. Both these guys are thinking there's no way they'll have the construction done by July 19th so training camp might be held in the stadium. I agree I don't see how they'll even finish the second outdoor field in time but only having the one field in the stadium doesn't seem like the most efficient way of working with the offense and defense. Probably should have booked Wofford for one more year instead of trying to rush this through

    • I think a lot of wrs are going to go in the second round before we pick.  There are a lot of wr needy teams.  I think there will be a big run on them in the late 30s and 40s.
    • Interesting that they met with Walker three times and Cam Jackson twice.
