I’m going to say the same thing I said last year. There is no tape on the offense so the first couple of games, maybe they can steal one.

As it turned out no one needed tape last year. Maybe this year will; be a litte different.

If they pull the same preseason game crap where we get demolished one on one and the coach says they're just running vanilla plays...I'm not buying that for a 4th year in a row lol. I need to see our starting lines match up to NFL level competition at the least

agree with your post. My point is that I think there has been a directive from the top for the social media team to intentionally not overly broadcast Bryce like a team normally would with a franchise QB

Maybe, but the social media team typically ignores guys when they don’t play well.

Bryce was forefront on the new stadium renderings

he also wasn't in the schedule release video...just saying man signs are there. It's a conspiracy for a reason though

Wait,they had scouting A'Shawn Robinson as a DE?Not a NT,that's funny.

In an odd front the defensive ends can line up anywhere from inside the guard to head up over the tackle.

I have been opining for a while that this will be better simply because Canales knows from a year of NFL film what he has in Young.

I think Reich was blindsided really and couldn’t deal. How much of that was because of the way the staff was assembled and that infighting or head butting that resulted, I don’t know but that will not be happening this season. The composition of the offensive staff seems to have people that are on the same page.

I feel like if they vanilla I am going to give them the benefit of ther doubt. For one thing Canales has said he really doesn’t think preseason games are as good a proving ground as scrimmages, and they generally run a series or two with the first team in preseason games. I’d be wanting to hide whatever I could hide and just get out of there healthy.  If I had anything worth hiding, that is.

He will be a DE in our 3-4 just like he was playing in the same defense for the Rams in 2021 and 2022.

My theory is the O staff had so much tunnel vision on the QB that they didn’t fully see the issues with the OL and WR room until it was too late.

I think it hit them during the jets practice.

Canales at least understands how bad this group was and hopefully has improved it by 20-30% or so.

Not sure if anyone else caught it, but in the section where the coaches and scouts were talking about what they wanted in an OLB, there was a point where someone said that they needed guys who could press the edge and finish by getting the guy to the ground.  I couldn't help but think that some subtle frustration with Burns may have come out right there.

Good one. Nuance matters. Or tries to.

Watch the video from 35min to 37min.

Tepper is still clearing giving his input and Dan is clearly looking for his approval…and this is the edited version to make T look good.

Given his track record, I don’t like his influence in that room.

It may have been a small part of the video, but it was 3 full days of draft time.

I don’t mind T being there, but I don’t like how Dan doesn’t seem comfortable making a decision without T giving the nod.

That is a stretch.
