Schefter: "There will be at least one NFL trade made today... "

The team is putting way too much time into scouting WR draft prospects for me to believe they're going to go the trade route.

(at least not at that position)

could just be a smokescreen.

*sits back and waits for the "no such thing as a smoke screen" fringe*

I really don't think we'll make any player for player trades, or give up any of our picks for players...

If we do any trading, it will be positioning moves for the draft... and will probably happen during the draft...

If we end up with holes after draft day comes and goes, THEN maybe you'll see us ship out a future pick for a player... (see Leonard, Tyler, Harris, etc.)

That fringe is not nearly as annoying as the fringe that assumes every interaction we have with a player is a smokescreen.

I mean, we have to be genuinely interested in some of these guys, right? Just because we don't draft the players we appear interested in doesn't make it a smokescreen.

I think we'll probably go into the draft as is and based on what happens there, fill in any necessary position weaknesses by trading afterwards.

there probably is some interest but the interest isn't as high as it is with some others that they are more interested in but aren't visiting. it could also be that they are only interested in one or two but visit several more so as not to show their hand.

i doubt anything they do is showing their obvious intention.

I still don't get the love for Marshall... Sure, he's got some pretty good game, but he has too many character/prima donna concerns for me to even want to give up a 3rd rounder for him...

the guy wants paid.. maybe I'm giving him too much credit, but he did focus himself professionally when the season started..

Just like Bolden, pay the guy and we are set. no draft pick we will have a chance at or worth even considering is going to be better than Marshall.

He is a very very good receiver.. I don't think it's that big of a chance and it's guaranteed talent.
