I applied for a dream type job for me. Alas, I do not think I got even an interview. It was at Davidson as a Scene Shop Foreman. I love building sets, solving problems, and making the impossible happen.

It would have been a great job because working at a college, you don't have to do copy cat productions. If you work in a professional theatre, the chances of taking a popular show like Grease and doing something really interesting with it is highly unlikely. Educational theatre is where theres still money to do some really interesting things with a production.

But looks like I'm going to have to look in the business world before I get fired or cut, or whatever the school system says its going to do to me.

I want to coach high school basketball and then eventually work my way up to a small college and so on. If that doesn't work out I want to be a sports writer for espn/cbs/yahoo. Sports is my true love, as long as I can get a job around it I will be happy.
