2 rd (48) WR Arrelious Benn Ill.- going against my gut, its hard to not pick up a talent with Benn's skillset and our need for a quality #2 WR on the other side of Smitty

3 rd (78) DE George Selvie USF- Selvie imo is a solid player in the form of Mike Rucker won't wow you in most aspects but won't dissapoint and with the lack of DE options this upcoming season since free agency has not been a real factor would be a nice pick

4 rd (112) OL Adam Ulatoski TEX- OL depth and who doesn't love a big guy

6 rd (175) QB Zac Robinson OK St.- Moore is the man now, Robinson has some skills to be a solid backup and short time starter with some work

6 rd (202) CB/KR Javier Arenas Ala.- small DB but can scare a defense with return ability and would be a nice nickel back

6 rd (204) FB Matt Clapp Okla.- old school battering ram, no frills all he does is clears a path and will add competition for Fiametta

7 rd (223) DT Terrance Cody Ala.- another big body, is high risk/high reward and with this late of a pick really what can it hurt

7 rd (249) S Myron Rolle Fla St.- if available, probably won't be, but should he drop due to commitment concerns would be a steal

I know I'm crazy...but that is neither here nor there

what are your opinions/grades/hates/props

If we could get Arenas, that would be an interesting pickup. On top of KR, he could possibly develop into a position player.

Robinson is a good idea. We need someone who can potentially start but for now just sits and watches Moore. ;)

I though hope we get a guy like Alualu. I think we are more solid at DE than DT...but I think most would disagree.

If this ever happened I'd be pretty stocked, but I'm not going to lie there is not a snowball's chance in hell that Cody falls that far. Sorry bud buts that not happening

4th would be the absolute farthest I see him falling. Most likely he doesn't make it out of the 2nd.

    • The other draft picks have turned out pretty well. Brooks will too.
    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
