Didn't see this posted... sorry if it already has been discussed.

I realize we don't have the cap space to sign big Al, but supposedly he said Carolina was one of the 3 teams he would prefer to sign with. TN, Car and Atl.

"Albert has said there were three places he would consider -- Tennessee, Carolina and Atlanta. These are Big Al's stomping grounds, so to speak (pardon the pun.) Albert was born and raised in South Carolina, pretty close to Charlotte, the home of the Panthers."

We could use him more in Houston...Mario Williams and Fat Albert would be unstoppable. We finally have a lot of money under the cap but I don't think we will be going after Haynesworth. It sounds like Albert wants to play close to home so he might rule Houston out.

Sign him and run the 3-4 defense. Johnson-Haynesworth-Peppers on the line. Davis-Beason-Seward(or another LB)-Diggs. That would free Thomas Davis up for some pass rushes and he could turn into a Joey Porter-style linebacker.

Get rid of Ken Lucas though. Smitty should hit him again from the way he's been playing lately.

does he step on heads every year? damn, I must have missed all this bad behavior he hasn't out-grown. We should crucify him forever, regardless if he makes changes in his life. And while we are at it, screw Smitty too... Once one makes a mistake, he'll always be a mistake. =)

I dont think Fox would run a 3-4, no way Turdo is smart enough to scheme for that type of defense. I however would love to see it.

You mention playing a 3-4 but leave Maake out of playing Nose Tackle?

Peppers isn't a 3-4 style DE.
