Adam Thielen: We probably have NFL’s worst facilities, I don’t think anybody would argue that

Facilities are like everything else in professional franchise sports. Just win and the amenities take care of themselves. No team ever lost a football game because their locker room wasn’t state of the art. If luxury is a motivating factor for onfield performance, there are bigger problems at play than how many ice baths are available.

Right..because not every player needs a ice bath to heal themself....we dont have enough so just suck it up and go out their next game and try your best not to get hurt. An stacked up IR list never hurt no team trying to win....

it doesnt matter so much about the wins and losses....its about providing a proper up to date environment for the players to train and and prepare for games like every other team. You bring up players and superbowls but how much of that has the team consistently accomplished since the inception? It aint a lot and right now we are the worst team in the last the couple years compared to other teams who have these things in place. Also players who are free agents factor things like this in their decision making when choosing teams, they really care how the organization is ran and what they have.... thats something you might want to keep in mind when bring up management and roster lol

The Richardson era Panthers had more success than lots of teams that had been around for decades longer.

KC is the best team in the NFL right now.  They have subpar equipment facilities.

l’ll start caring about our equipment when they can field a a respectable football team.  Free agents care about paychecks. End of the day no FA is going to sign here because of our steam room.

It’s 2024.  Panthers don’t have a shortage of things their players need.  Theilen isn’t short and missing out on what he needs.  We are talking luxury at this stage.  Cool and new.

Do you work in the building?

Thielen is just mad because hopefully Dan and Dave threw out that stupid ping pong table. It's so infuriating after watching the team get blown out by 30 and hearing guys laughing and joking playing ping pong in the background of a press conference.

I feel safe to assume Theilen can get in an ice tub if he needs one.

again, it’s 2024 and the NFL.  The new state of art facilities are about luxury and having the latest and greatest.   Which is all cool.  I’d rather have than not have.  But let’s not pretend like the Panthers players are being mistreated.

Panthers players through NFLPA do a report card.  The complaint in Carolina is the food and cafeteria.

Plenty of opposing players gave their teams training rooms and weight rooms Ds and Fs.  Carolina players went Bs. So it doesn’t really jive with Theilen’s view that the Panthers got it the worst.

worst in what way? don’t have enough options in the coffee maker? corn pops keep running out?

Their facilities are the stadium, weight room, treatment center, offices for coaches are actually inside the stadium. Panthers don't have what are now called "performance centers" like most other franchises.

    • What the hell?  How is presenting Cam's stats hating him?  The point is not to hate Cam, it is to show you how similar Jones is to him and why you take a look at him.  I mentioned Jones has the skill set to take a look--the response is, "look at his 5 years of performance."  So I compare him to the greatest QB in franchise history, and the stats are similar--while Jones was in a worse situation.  Now that is "hating?"  Come on.  This is a meritless, ignorant, personal attack because you are wrong.  Just stop it.  You all attack the poster when you have nothing.  So saying "we should consider a guy with similar stats and size to Cam Newton" is now hating Cam and making me a Jones super fan- that is just stupid.
    • LOL wut? His career stats. 24-44-1 With 9 wins his highest ever.  With Barkley 64% 14000 yards passing going over 3000 just 1 fuging time 70 tds 47 ints to go along with 50 fumbles.  50 fuging fumbles In short he has 1 season over 5 wins.  1.
    • So a starting QB with 5+ years of experience and whose stats are very similar (if you do math) with Cam Newton's stats (who had much better defenses and offensive lines) here becomes available, and Bryce is your QB and you do NOT kick the tires on Jones.  You simply call him a "broken toy" and do nothing.  That sounds like a very passive approach.  Remember, you labeled him, not the stats he accumulated on some pretty bad teams since 2019.  I am telling you what a smart GM would do, and even if Jones is broken and can't be fixed, you make that determination after giving the matter due diligence.  You and Completely are simply forcing your opinions about his play into logic, and the stats do not support them.  Put him in a better situation and he will do better, but in a bad situation, with some terrible offensive lines, WRs, and bad defenses,  he was on track to have stats that parallel Cam Newton--like it or not--numbers don't lie, nor does his size, arm strength, speed, and intelligence.  Broken? I am saying he is an interesting prospect and should not be overlooked by bias, misinformation, and context.
