Planning for the future of Bank of America Stadium

Recommended Posts

Meh looks like an ugly facade over what they already have. From classical to billionaire with ketchup on his steak.

The only things they talked about that would be positive and worth the money spent is new seating (just new seats or layout remains to be seen) and new food options. The rest is more empty hype by blowing money so just more Tepper being Tepper.

The one thing Tepper should copy from the Falxons is Blanks insistence on having affordable food/bev as an option.

You want a bucket of popcorn? $2

Small bottle of water? $1

Cheap crap beer? $5

Nachos? $3

(We'll make enough $ from those who want the good stuff that the few cheap prices won't hurt the bottom line)

Looks like he went for the exterior of Atlanta and I wouldn't hold your breath on those prices lol. He has to pay for all of those bad coach contracts for years still.

This. You can get a hot dog for $2 at the dome. Blank got it right with that move.

This is underwhelming. A lot of the money must be going to a practice facility, and possibly turning that area around the stadium to a recreational and residential hot spot like the battery here in Atlanta.

Stadium still seems basic.

WSOC article said the Panthers and City of Charlotte have been negotiating for over a year.  I wonder if City of Charlotte cause Rock Hill location to collapse.  Seems like Tepper is getting a much better deal from Charlotte even with all of the lawsuits settlements.
