Did you go from little to no activity and then add exercise? Because if so, that's gonna happen. You're building muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. Muscles help burn calories though so over time you will start losing weight.

Yep. My trainer told me not to get on the scale, but I did it anyway.

Everyday I do cardio, but it varies what I actually do. Some days treadmill, some days elliptical, on the days I go twice a day I do both. Today was elliptical and step along with weights. Every other day is weight training.

I HATE the elliptical. HATE IT.

the elliptical is for women and the treadmill shortens your stride and hurts your knees fyi

Tell all the guys at my gym the elliptical is for women. There's more guys on them than gals. Granted, it's middle aged guys. LOL The younger guys are on the treadmill.

I'm only about 5'2. My stride can't get much shorter. :)
