This isn't about Bryce Young in a vacuum.  This isn't really even about BY9 per se.  And I don't give a crap about other fans.

What I do care about is being able to come to this board and have discourse with Panthers fans that actually have some context & perspective for the things they spew.

It's not about agreeing or not.  I could come to this board for well over a decade and have that experience.  And I disagreed with many, many people.  

None of whom acted like this current cast of trolls.

Now, there are literally people with clown avatars attacking any take you have that isn't overwhelmingly negative...

It's effing insanity.  And I'd be willing to bet everything I've got the website traffic has plummeted.  Obviously, the team's performance is a factor, but there are so many users than used to be regulars that have disappeared from this board.  For reasons similar to mine.

And dude, I've been a PSL owner for 20 years... trust me, I got thick skin when it comes to the Panthers.

I'm just trying to provide legit feedback and constructive criticism about the direction of this message board.

Fitterer traded away the #1 overall pick because Young was supposed to be ready immediately and we’d never pick low again. Then it went from him sucking up the playbook like a sponge early on to having to limit the offense in preseason.

This place was a cesspool at times even through the Cam years. Even when we won the goal posts moved over and over. And Cam had one of the best rookie seasons ever at the time.

I respect you for holding it down as a fan. But just remember we're all at the end of the day on equal footing with this franchise. We've all suffered through the consistent inconsistency that has now given way to one of the worst teams in all of professional sports the last few years. That is the biggest reason you are seeing what you're seeing.

If the combo of Canales and BY can bring wins and respectability back for the Carolinas you'll see the feedback you seek. For the moment I think the mods here are doing the best they can given the state of the franchise.

This is a huge point.   I think last year, we were trying to shorten the game by snapping with 2 seconds or less on the play clock.  However, Canales talks a lot about pre-snap reads, and you can't do that if you are checking on your formation (are they set?) and it reduces the use of motion.  Bryce's first read needs to be pre-snap.  And when the D can cover your TEs and WRs with 4 players, the blitzes and stunts are more aggressive when the play clock behind the QB is hitting Zero.

People came here when the Charlotte.com board closed down I think. I remember a few people. There were some people here that knew football (not me) and the other 90%. 1st page o two a thread might be pretty good, then someone insinuates that a Panther player is an All Pro or JAG and it’s over. 10 pages of two guys having a pissing match.

This place has always been a cesspool. Always.

Go figure, a 2-15 team owned by David Tepper inspires negativity.

Panther fans have zero patience. Imagine being a Hornets fan and never winning a playoff series in 20+ years since their freakin team moved from the city to New Orleans of all places.

That said, it would be nice to have a thread about OTA's that don't turn into Bryce bashing by the same 4 posters that have to be heard in every thread, even if its not about Bryce. 

It's just annoying and this thread is not the place.
