At this point, Chris Simms is more unwatchable and credible than even Pat McAfee… and that’s saying something.

Simms saying he can't rely on the anticipation when your WR's are getting bumped by Trevon Diggs and the like. That's the whole timing/throwing to a spot thing that occasionally looks good on tape but is generally sketchy if you can't actually see what's going on. I'm sure QB school would disagree

That dude lost all credibility for me last year constantly making excuses for Bryce and screeching about the only reliable WR we had simply because we had to make him the #1 option when he should probably be a #3 at this stage in his career. That ain't his fault. Just stop bitching about our #1 not being a legit #1 while Bryce is spraying the ball all over the field with footwork that looks like he's fuging river dancing.

The guy just cannot move on from preconceptions. Whatever he previously thought about a guy, he'll just use that confirmation bias to reinforce that opinion. He loved Bryce as a prospect so he has to come up with excuses for why it's not working. Adam Thielen had to have fuged his wife or something. I mean, the hate is just irrational.

Simms is so wishy washy at times it's difficult to listen or take him seriously. But unfortunately he is correct on most of what he's saying about Bryce.

Also putting him below Darnold is brutal. At the same time. I just can't argue with it. Darnold at least has the phsyical ability to put the ball wherever he wants it. You don't draft a QB #1 overall if he doesn't have the kind of arm talent that wows you on the tape.

Hey he's got him above these guys. Although one could argue at least 3 of the 5 here could have won more games with our roster last year
