I don't think they'll be raising them much next season, but the one after that they might if they continue with this success.

it's gotta be the arena, I saw metallica there last fall and holy hell it was the loudest thing I'd ever heard.

keep in mind I'm a drummer and am around loud music all the time.

That reminds me, the drum corps that was playing in the main lobby after the game was really cool, they've really found a way to make the game experience something worth getting excited about. I can't wait until my little boy is old enough to go.

I play everything, I'm down to 2 bands now, I was in 5 at one point.

I felt bad for Gojira, they clearly weren't using the same PA as Lamb of God (who sux imo) and Metallica. I liked them though.

Gojira is fuging awesome. fug LoG and Metallica for not hooking them up. They're better than either band ever was.

I saw LoG twice, and they should know exactly what Gojira is going through. The first time they sounded like poo (but damn that drummer is tight, best member in an otherwise generic band) and the second time was after their stint on Ozfest's second stage, and they had a couple stacks and their own PA and sounded amazing. Both shows were at Tremont, which has to have the absolute worst PA in the area. The singer is still the biggest *** in metal other than Dani Filth. And, yah I know Metallica was awesome 20 years ago, but they were never as good as Slayer or Megadeth imo.

I'm in two separate projects right now myself. The one I switch off on bass and guitar for is in a coma (figuratively) and the other one I'm doing death metal vox for.

yeah Gojira really got screwed on the PA deal. I went and met a buddy of mine for a beer during their set at one of the concession stands and he didn't even know a band was playing, that should NEVER happen in an arena show.

I'm strictly in paying acts right now due to the little one at home. I'm dying to play some heavy stuff though. I had to quit this awesome stoner metal band which was real hard for me, probably the best band I've ever been a part of. Half of that band is also in Snakedriver, a killer local metal band I still keep up with.
