Game 73: Raptors vs. Bobcats

Tough loss tonight for the Bobcats. Toronto is fighting for its playoff life so Im not shocked they turned it on in the 4th quarter. Im confident we will respond, and bounce back from this and we're still in good shape.

I dont know if today's events in this forum had anything to do with it, but Im shocked at how huge this game thread is. I'll just say its real cool that people are paying attention to the Bobcats and are beginning to become invested in the team. They truly do this for all of us and I know the team rallies behind the support.

Guys, yes it was a heartbreaking loss. Disappointing loss at home. But we were without Tyrus Thomas. I am not worried about not making the playoffs, have faith. I guarantee you we will. I would hate to be in the Bulls position right now with so few games left.

Larry Brown was questioning some of the calls. He brought up an interesting point on the foul on Tyson. He was off the ball and in that situation it would be 1 shot and ball, not 2 shots. Also, he had to question the "goal-tending" call by Ratliff.

Questionable calls and poor defense killed us, especially in the 2nd half. But we'll bounce back.

Each time I go to a game, I enjoy it more and more. The Bobcats give me twice the entertainment value for half the price of any other pro or wannabe pro sport in town.

Got there halfway through the 2nd, which sucks. I like to be in my seat by tipoff.

I didn't want to go cuz I was scared I'd jinx us, and I did. :|

The calls were obviously BS and not consistent on both sides at all.

The crowd seemed very loud and intense at the end of the game tonight. Bobcats nation has made me proud the past few weeks. 6th Man is stepping up HUGE for us right now. I love the intimate feel of TWC Arena. The seating makes you feel like your right on top of the court and in the midst of the action even if you're in the nosebleeds.

I have to get adjusted when I walk in, there's so much going on and so much to look at. Took the g/f to her first ever pro sporting event (she's got about as little interest in sports as a chick can have) and I think she's a fan now. She was more into the game in the 4th than I was, because I could see how we were falling apart.

Plus we just couldn't stop the Raptors from dropping those shots. Hats off to them. Great game even if we did lose.

Yeah, the noise in the 4th shocked me for a half-empty arena. More people there than I expected for a Monday night game against the Raptors too.

Bosh's grace and athleticism is amazing. I swear he goes from the 3 point to dunk range in 2 steps. Put him on a better team and he'll really make you pay.
