I didn't see this posted here, apologies if I missed it.  I just saw this breakdown today, it really shows just why this guy is someone we want around.

I don't need someone to tell me how hard Brown plays and how valuable he is to this team. All you have to do is watch him play. But I'll see what this guy has to say anyway.

We definitely have guys we can choose to be optimistic about. Brown is a big piece going forward.

I remember really wanting Isiah Simmons or Jeff Okudah in that draft class, and was kinda pissed we drafted ANOTHER DT early after Star and Vernon Butler in the previous years.

But man has this dude improved each year and is easily a Top 5 DT in the NFL.

I beleive last year was a first to where on defense I stayed focused on a DT throughout the play. Was kinda fun to be more engaged in that part of the field as a fan.

Once upon a time we basically had to choose between Kawaan Short or Star Lotulelei. We chose the guy that got the flashy stat. I’m glad this time we chose right. 
 

(not hating on KK, but Star was far more important to the defense)

We still have those? That guy was never good enough as a Panther to still be a fan of him playing for another team.

One of the very few players on the Panthers that would walk onto any roster in the NFL and be a starter. Great player. Hurney's 1st round track record is incredible.

After a disappointing year 2, he really turned it on.  When he “wants to” there is no stopping him.  Glad to have him.
