It's nothing but RBA's ego getting in the way of proven performance if Necas isn't playing center this season. Last season wasn't his best, but he had a breakout year playing center in 22-23, so I'm not sure what the deal is unless RBA wanted better D, which he did improve on last season. Still some work to be done there.

He has never played center under Rod.   I thought he had always been a winger.

Swap Koochie and Anderson. Even the national media sees him starting over Freddie.   Also, why not give Lemieux a shot over a carrier?  This team seemed to have toughness with him out there. Plus I didn’t think he was that bad.

Sounds like his dad just needs to STFU and let his boy play and make his own decisions.  I feel necas is going to have a huge prove you wrong kinds year

Looks like Sam Gagner is signing a PTO with the Canes.

There’s also a rumor going around that PNC Arena will be renamed to the Lenovo Center as early as tomorrow.

It was happening at the Hams Zimmer concert yesterday as we spoke.

It happened much sooner for those in the area as the wind got ahold of the plastic sheet covering the new sign. Some poor kid was trying to beat Mother Nature by holding onto the plastic. 

Needless to say, the signage was unveiled a lot sooner than they wanted.
