Aren't sports still broadcast in 720p anyway?

depends on the Network the sports channel is on and if your tv provider broadcasts that network at 1080i...

time warner cable, could go any way, most likely 720... chances are directv broadcasts at 1080i.

My opinion is kind of a moot point because I live in California. But I have quite the Sunday ritual. I have a 52" Samsung 1080p LCD with Sunday Ticket. I have a very fast high-def laptop sitting on a TV tray to my right, with my FF league open on one window and ESPN or some other sports sight open on another, doing the side by side windows 7 thing. I got a fridge full of micro-brews, a lot of chips and salsa, and usually some pizza too. A little herbal refreshment (if the wife and daughter are out shopping), and my Boxer dog, Julius. I scream so loud during games that my neighbors that live across the street from me have told me they know when I'm watching Panthers games. As far as I'm concerned, it's tough to beat the way I enjoy football.

I am however looking forward to my first Charlotte experience next year against CHI. I've never been to an NFL game where I was rooting for the same team as everyone else in the stadium. 49ers and Raiders games only.

go to the tailgate and it'll only affirm your stadium experience...
