They just don't run updates during the game like they should. Maybe if I had an earbud radio tuned to the game AT the game I'd enjoy it more.

Which is kinda crazy, considering how much the television announcers detract from the home viewing experience.

Its just too much like watching a golf match in BOA stadium, and not enough like watching a football game.

The two are completely different experiences enjoyable for what makes them different (if that makes any f’n sense). But there is nothing like being at the game. From the pre-game tailgating to the electricity in the air feeling of walking up the ramp to the 500 levels. It is all a bit surreal at times and gets my adrenaline pumping. Its why I agree to pay the prices because there is nothing like it.

I have never allowed another fan to affect my experience at the stadium. I will say that way more times than not its hi-fives from all around when the team does well, so I guess I consider us lucky.

It would be nice if the would turn up the PA/music though.

play some hype music in between plays, encourage fans to get LOUUUUD, and I'd go to more games..

seriously though, both experiences have their positives.. I can see plays develop easier at the game, feel more involved by getting losers out of their chairs, and it seems I'm more hype while at the game..

since I don't go to every game, I'm good with broadcasts..

I find it funny how everyone who wants to make a point about home being better, mentions how big their TV is. lol

I've been to every game the past five seasons and love every second of it. I like being out in the fresh air, my seats are great, no one has told me to sit down, there has rarely been an obnoxious drunk near me, everyone around me has been there the entire time so I know them by name, during commercials I talk with the people I go with, the bathroom is never crowded, and it's a five minute drive from my house.

It makes my week. Well, if we lose it sucks, but I still have a fun time.

im right with you man ive been going sense 07 season and i love it we really have some of the better fans the only time i had trouble was the cowgirls night game. no one has ever told me to sit down even if they did i would tell them to stand up and make some damn noise.. we could have some better music to get the players going tho

Well, that's because a lot of the PSL's are corporate owned, and they give the tickets to clients that may or may not want to see the Panthers play. Look at all of those little tents with the picket fences around the stadium on gameday- those are mostly luxury box seat folk, but it does give an idea that everybody ain't there for the game.

To be honest I have seen some people in those boxes cheer with everyone else. Just look for sweater vests to find the whine and cheese.

It sounds like they are making up for a lack of something else!

I don't care how expensive, blah blah blah. Going to BoFA on a beautiful day with the crowd roaring at kickoff and welcome to the jungle playing is better than any 1080p TV.

Aren't sports still broadcast in 720p anyway?

I've been to so many Panthers games over the years, that I almost don't like watching them on TV. To me, there's nothing like being there, yelling and high-fiving everyone around me. I'd rather spend my money on going to the game then on TV. And I have a 60" widescreen HDTV.

It's more than just the game, its the whole day experience. For a 1pm game I leave the house at 7:30am and don't get home til 6pm. I've never tailgated at the house.

Plus with the tailgating, I never buy food in the stadium. I also don't spend a lot on beer since I'm pretty hydrated by the time I get in there.
