Where would the Panthers be if they sat Bryce Young last season?

Probably win a couple more games. I love how people dodge the circumstances of that seattle game with the crowd and the penalties. IF we are at home or playing another team its a different story. You would have a point if the obsessive penalties and high pass attempts was a consistent theme throughout the season.

Why is it so hard to accept that Reich just can't coach? There doesn't have to be a conspiracy behind it. Indianapolis knew.

Doesn't even make sense. If Reich didn't want him why protect him with that Fisher Price ass playbook? He could have just drawn plays without any regard for Bryce's ability and let the kid embarass himself if he couldn't execute.

Everyone that still thinks Reich was a good coach needs to watch this interview with Jeff Saturday where he touches on cleaning up after Reich in Indianapolis.  Here's an appetizer:

McAfee:  So everything I had heard about that building was that it was in ruins....A lot of people in that building had the same message it was like, our culture has completely gone to hell.  There are people missing meetings, there are people missing treatments, there are guys actually gambling against the Indianapolis Colts actually that are on the team.  The building just kind of fell apart.  So Jeff is coming in here and he's going to be a guy that's going to take it on the shins from everybody as he has to re-instate what a professional football team looks like.  Is that an accurate depiction of what you had to do?  And your first day in there were you caught off guard completely about what you were walking in to?

Saturday:  It was more than I anticipated I'll put it like that, I'll church it up a little bit.  There was a lot of what you're saying going on.  I think Irsay knew that...

Continuing to have any faith in him as a head coach after these comments and what we saw last year is insane.  Great guy, horrible head coach.

Exact same spot.....we had easily the LEAST TALENTED TEAM IN THE NFL!

Dalton maybe gets us one to two more wins tops. This team needed an overhaul and Morgan has started it

Dalton gets us to 5-7 wins. It would have been much easier to mitigate pressure with his style of play, and the defense would have to respect his arm. I could also see him having a few 3 TD games. He’d still get rocked pretty bad and average 3 sacks a game. I could see him and Mingo meshing well, giving us more than 1 effective receiver.

I’ve never seen such a propaganda campaign like the one that got Bryce chosen #1 overall. Everything that was advertised was fools gold. Strikingly unpolished. The moment this was seen, he should have undergone a strict conditioning, strengthening, and fundamentals program… but the politics of the situation would never let it happen. He needed a year. Dude looks like Red trying to get his bike back from Deebo every time he steps on the field (someone should photoshop that poo.)

If you only change one player with last year's team the results would be the same. Tom Brady might get you a few more wins because he wouldn't have put up with the garbage Frank installed. Andy Dalton wasn't changing anything but his stats. He couldn't win the 1 game he played started. There's no way I believe the season ends any other way than it did.

We'd be bitching about a moronic owner and FO that gave up a ransom for a draft pick and then were content to let him sit on the bench.

Young should have sat at least 6ish games to start the year.  Some qbs can hop right in to the nfl (cam obviously) but most IMO need to sit and learn and not feel the immediate pressure of having to win.  I think the Pats are doing that with Maye and I suspect they will be rewarded for it.

Defense had to respect his arm? What was his YPA? His one big gain was wide open Chark getting 20 of his 47 yards on YAC. People need to rewatch this game… So he “tested” the defense with 2 20 yard passes… A defense missing half its secondary (which is why Chark was wide open).
