CBS Sports’ way too early 2025 mock has Carolina ….taking a QB

According to the Bleacher, the 2025 NFL draft is deep @ OT, CB and Edge Rusher. Depending on how our season goes, we’ll have opportunities to upgrade significantly at these positions next year.

2025 may not be the best year to need a QB. Sanders and Ewers might be the top 2.

You don't say?  Regardless, I think we will right there for one of those two.  Maybe not #1 overall, but top 10 for sure...likely 5-9 range.

Someone could have a breakout year and be in the conversation, but as of now it seems limited. 

Conversely, Young could have a breakout year, and the conversation changes too.

At this time, I do not share your confidence in being the 5-9 range.

i was noticing that CB and Edge are really deep. Didnt notice OT, but thats good to hear. We need to have succession plans for Clowney, Moton, and Gilmore (assuming we get him). further, Icky, JC, and Wonnum are not guarantees to work out. Could afford to double dip at all three positions if things go terrible.

I can’t think of a team that will be worse than us. ESP with Bryce at QB.  I fully expect this team to win 2-3 games and draft Sanders(which would be another bust).

Denver is a possibility. Tough division, not much on the roster, AFC gauntlet. 

The worst part about it is we could double our wins and still be at or near the top of the draft.

depending on mayo the pats could be pretty bad with brissette starting and maye taking over halfway or so in.
