The guy compares him to Jordan Love then takes it back and says he doesn't have his arm smh.

 

How can I take his response seriously? He's just talking to talk. No substance.

I would be much more comfortable signing Winston or Fields then reaching on any other QBs in this class tbh.

If we stay at 1 and go QB then yeah it's between Ward and Sanders at this point.  I know he had a bad game but trading down and getting Nuss could be something.  Ewers, Allar, or even Milroe in the 2nd could be interesting, especially if we have a vet FA to give them time.

I don’t think you listened at all. He said his style is very similar to Love, but he doesn’t have the same physical attributes. 

You obviously disagree, but there was nothing wrong in how he delivered his opinion.

If we take a QB that high again it better be our franchise guy because we don't have time to be wasting picks on a developmental QB.

 

I personally would rather just sign a Fields or Winston over reaching on any of these QBs not named Ward/Sanders.

 

Milroe scares me. He could literally be boom or bust I don't see any in between with him.

If you don't have the same physical attributes how are you similar?

 

QBs throw the ball if you not similar in physical attributes you obviously aren't similar with your throwing ability. Love clearly has a bigger arm. And honestly Love is on the verge of being a top 5 QB in this league.

 

Sanders is a pocket passer with a lesser arm, but he has the it factor. We seen him in crunch time lead his team down the field and win games. I think Sanders is more Dak Prescott.

Here is Brugler on Ward 

“(Ward’s) 6-foot-2, 225 pounds, electric arm talent, really elusive in the pocket,” Brugler told Russini and Daniel. “He’s a very loose player, and that’s part of what makes him dangerous — but he’s also loose with his decision-making, and that directly leads to negative plays.

“The best way I can sum it up is he’s a ‘fireworks’ player. He can create an explosive play on any snap, but fireworks also have that big warning label on them, right? When you’re careless with fireworks, negative results will follow. I’m encouraged by the progress that we’ve seen from Ward. He was a Wing-T quarterback in high school, (played in the) Air Raid at Incarnate Word, then Washington State. He’s still in an Air Raid offense now, but you see a little more variation.

“The character reviews I’ve heard from scouts — really smart, great leader, confident kid. I don’t think he’s faced a great defense, that’s kind of the problem with the ACC this year. But this is where the 12-team playoff could come into play, because think about last year with Michael Penix Jr.. If he doesn’t have that 430-yard passing performance against Texas in the semifinals, is he still a top-10 pick? Who knows.

“Consciously or subconsciously, scouts and teams, they’re gonna weight these playoff games a little bit more — that big stage. Selfishly, I want to see Miami make the playoff, just so we can see Ward on that stage.”

I still don't see the comparison with Love. I have Love arm on another level. Shedeur arm isn't that impressive, but he makes up for it with his accuracy.
