He won't be on a leash at all. They will let him run the show for the entire season. If we end up with the #1 pick we obviously take Sanders to be our QB.

 

*Before you Colorado haters say something, Prime dropped a interview last week saying he's not following his sons to the NFL and he doesn't want to coach in the NFL. So we are just getting his son.

He is on a rookie contract. We are going to keep him if not a starter than as a backup. If he sucks this year we will be picking top 5 and will pick another QB in the first round. You gotta keep taking shots until you find your franchise guy.

If the team is serious about building a winning franchise, his leash needs to be the same length as any other QB. Either he gets the job done or he rides the bench. It's not about the player, it's about the team.
