I know which WR will fall to us........

This draft is pretty deep on the lines and in the defensive secondary. Those positions will combine to push a lot of wide receivers down the big board. In all probability Bryant, Tate, and Benn will be gone, but don't be too surprised if Damien Williams or Brandon LaFell is available at 48. It's also possible to see Thomas, but I think someone will take a chance on him and LaFell will probably be a better pro in his first couple of years anyway.

Gilyard and Ford will probably be around when we draft in the third, and there are other decent receiving prospects that will be around later. Think about Andre Roberts, Jordan Shipley, Dexter McCluster, Eric Decker, Carlton Mitchell, Mike Williams, Marcus Easley, and Jeremy Williams. One of them will probably be there in the 7th.

I think people go a little overboard when they say that Fox can't draft WR's. Good grief, he has only drafted two as high as the 2nd round in 8 years, and every one of those college scouts that were here when Colbert and Carter were drafted are all gone.

Also, I have been impressed with a lot of these rookie WR's in the last couple of years. I think WR is one position that is really getting better because of the spread offense.

or we'll end up getting mardy gilyard or jordan shipley or whoever else is listed at WR for this upcoming draft. or, how bout this, we trade up in the second by using our 1st from next year's draft, and take a pass catching tight end (even though most of us feel comfortable with the TE's the panthers have, john fox might not), then with the other 2nd we take mardy gilyard, and then a DT in the 3rd. BOOYA to yo MAMMA!!!!

edit: oh, and the reason why john fox might want a true pass catching TE that's better than Rosario would be because matt moore likes to throw to tight ends.

Dude who in this draft is a better pass catching TE then Rosario or Barnidge. Please. Dingleberry:"Oh look big shiny new TE I must have him". Any TE we draft wouldn't make the team most likely.

I hope we can get Mardy Gilyard..But I think its possible he will not be there in the 2nd.

IMO, if Gilyard is still there for us then every team before us in the second round are idiots. He has Cribbs play making ability, but perhaps could also play wide out.

Its possible that he wont be there and a guy like Brandon Lafell will be there when we pick.

lulz, you said dingleberry  sorry, just couldn't resist. no one's said my name in their post before, and it just sounds so freakin' hilarious. and i was being just as speculative as everyone else here. my point was to say that no one really knows what's going to happen in the draft. everyone thought we were gonna take a DT in the 2nd round of last year's draft, we ended up taking a DE... DT didn't come till the 3rd or 4th. so no one really knows what's going to happen. we could take a DE in the 2nd round, and a WR in the 3rd. i doubt we take a TE at all in this year's draft, but i was just being hypothetical.
