Anyone feel like we are playing the 03 Rams again.

Actually it's been 2 games in a row already. Edge had 100 yards against Seattle the last game of the season. James has only had 16 touches against Atlanta and has had a 5.8 yard per carry average since being reinserted into the lineup after being benched following the last Carolina game. James has 30 rushes for 173 yards the last two games. He has fresh legs and is running like he is auditioning for a new team next year. If Edge gets going it is going to open up our play action passes, in which Warner had a perfect 158.8 QB rating against Atlanta when passing from play action. If Edge gets going, our passing game is that much more lethal.

Everyone is writing us off against you guys, but I guess that's why they play the game on the field and not in the papers or on message boards.

The panther fans don't hang their hat on wins vs teams like the Raiders, or Lions, so please spare us the Seattle gig.

No offense, but 100 yrds against seattle is not much of an accomplishment. Carolina would probably have a field day with their run game against them. With Kemo and Lewis coming back, your run game is going to have a HUGE challenge on its hands.

Don't even use the 2003 Rams and the Cardinals in the same breath.

The Rams were one of the most explosive and top teams in the league. True can't argue that

The Cardinals are a punchline in a sad joke.

Really and we are playing you in the playoffs so please don't spew hatred it is not becoming

They were 8-8 in the God Awful NFC West for Christ's sake.

And how was that tough non confrence shedule for ya. S.D, Den, Oak, K.C, and don't forget the mighty Lions from Detriot. When you look at it that way we played 6 so called cake walks you played 5. So I wouldn't go around displaying that on the boards just keep takling about our cream puff shed.

They beat some of the worst teams in the league.

So did you LOL

SF twice...both times before Singletary took over and they sucked badWrong again the second time Singletary was the Coach

Miami....most overrated team in the league. Were exposed as a joke by Baltimore

Opinion but I will call it truth However we did blow them out not just win

Buffalo...once they started imploding

Actually we are one of the reasons thet imploded they came in here 4-0 we took out the QB and the rest was history

Dallas...during the stellar Brad Johnson era

WOW wrong again we played the entire game with ROMO as the Qb and injured him in ot starting the BRAD Era

SL...Twice...2nd worse team in the league

True

Seattle...twice...challenging SL for 2nd worse team in the leagueAnd True

What a joke....any other division and you would have been 3rd place at best.

Opinion at best.

Seeing as you did not provide many facts in your post why should I believe your opinion.

Yea the way you dominated the Lions 31-22, the Raiders 17-6 and the Packers 35-31 were impressive. Our strength of schedules were identical at 119-137, although we had five road games back east were we played teams with a combined record of 50-22 :reddevil:

I agree, but those 100 yards were on 14 carries or 7.1 yards per carry, and considering that edge had touched the ball 8 times since the Carolina game, I would consider it an improvement. I have been at the last two games, and just let me tell you that I haven't seen Edge run like this since he has been in Arizona. He has a big chip on his shoulder. He looks faster, he is running outside and making people miss, something he hasn't done in awhile. He is a different back, and if he gets going Saturday night, it's going to open up our passing game even more.

You guys are 9.5 favorites and we are travelling east and playing a team that has beat us the past 5 meetings. That's a huge hill to climb. Two weeks ago we had zero running game, but have been decent since Edge has let out of the dog house. If we win, it's going to be through the air, all I am saying is that your defensive game plan must now account for a much improved running game.

Just a few interesting facts from the Cardinals newsletter

THIS SEASON THE CARDINALS ARE:

7-2 in home games (not relevant)

8-0 in games they are leading after the third quarter

9-0 in game they break even or hold an advantage in the turnover battle (This will be the key to the game)

6-1 in games played indoors (Not relevant)

7-2 in games they score first

the cards are a good team... don't sleep on them, you can't blame them for being in the NFC west.

They are not to blame for being in the NFC west, the NFC west is to blame for sending an 8-8 to the playoffs.

Maybe if we were at their dome,it might feel a little like the Rams of '03.

    • Super raw, not sure he is worth a top 10 pick.  Primary a pass rusher.  A bit like Burns, very fast athletic but doesnt always follow the play.  His highlights look good but when you watch him play you can see he is just raw and needs to develop
    • Personally, I am not sold on Bryce yet--and I do not think anyone is saying they are, but I don't think Ward is on table when we draft anyway.  Not even sure if I would rather have him than one of the later QBs.  I see a lot of potential in Allar, Nussmeire, Rourke, and even Hamilton from Ohio State--Milroe is intriguing, but I am not sure he is an NFL QB.  Ewers is that sleeper who falls and becomes a solid starter. I think that we sign a veteran who has played and we draft one of these project QBs. To your point:  With that in mind, I think you have to take QB off the table in round 1, and if Bryce can string 4-5 games like KC together, we still need to draft a QB in round three or so---I really think Rourke is a great fit for this offense--he is accurate and gets the ball out quickly---he impressed me vs OSU.   Reason?  I think we may have a tough decision to make about Bryce in 2 years--will he be worth $60m?  That decision is a lot easier if you have been grooming a backup for 2 years who can play. In round 1: I am hoping for PSU's edge Abdul Carter In round 2:  I would like to see us grab a DT who can rush the passer.  Walter Nolen of Ole Miss is versatile and a bit raw. I think he could be an excellent complement to Brown. In round 3:  I would love ILB Danny Stutsman from Oklahoma.  He is a beast. With 11 picks, I would package our 4th rounders to move up into the third round and take a QB.  At the moment, I think Rourke is trending upward and he has the skills Canales seems to want in a QB.  Quick processor, quick release. I would use the fifth rounders on OL.  I know that I left out WR--however, we are getting Thielen back, XL will be improved, Coker will be improved, and Moore has been surprisingly good.  Sanders (TE) has been more than expected in the passing game.  I think we need D more than WR, and maybe we can get a veteran WR to sign or find a hidden gem late.
    • Wouldn't be surprised if he starts a couple Jets games this year with the way the Rodgers thing is going. Giants fans are pissed they didn't keep him lol. He might actually have a little bit of a market.
