Part I: Trades

Chicago (1.01), Washington (1.02), and New England (1.03) are likely to stay put.

There's a good chance Arizona trades down and are requiring 3 first round picks.

Los Angeles may trade down and if they do, they'll pick the best WR or OT on their board.

If Joe Alt is gone by pick 1.07, Tennessee will move down for Olu Fashanu.

Antonio Pierce wants to trade down by Los Vegas Raiders GM Tom Pelesco doesn't.

The Giants, Vikings, and Broncos all want to move up.

Denver may trade back for Edge Rusher Laiatu Latu.

Indianapolis is looking to trade up for Tight End Brock Bowers.

The Bears trading up to nine is unrealistic due to the lack of draft capitol.

Buffalo may trade up but if that doesn't work out they'll trade down from 1.28.

There'll be a minimum of 5 trades within the first round.

Part II: Teams

The Commanders will take Jayden Daniels at 2nd overall.

New England is not high on Drake Maye and prefer J.J McCarthy.

Three Offensive Tackles may go in the top ten. Joe Alt will be the first off the board.

Offensive Tackles continues to be a talking point in the Chargers War Room.

Malik Nabers is a top six lock and there's a high chance he'll be the first non qb drafted.

The Jets still have interest in drafting an on Offensive Tackle at 1.10.

Sean Payton loves J.J McCarthy but trading up for him is unrealistic.

There's a chance Denver won't end up with a Quarterback in Round 1.

Raiders will go Offensive Tackle if they decide to not trade up.

Michael Penix has a better chance to go Round 1 then Bo Nix but won't go top 13.

Seahawks have interest in Byron Murphy; The Rams are interested in Laiatu Latu.

Pittsburgh will go Offensive Tackle Round 1 but it is unclear who.

Miami will also go Offensive Line in the first round. They've been connected to Troy Fautanu.

The Buccaneers have interest in late round edge rushers.

Detroit is most likely to get edge rusher Darius Robinson in the first round.

Buffalo wants to double up on Receivers.

Coaches are not high on Quinyon Mitchell and show more interest in Terrion Arnold and Nate Wiggins.

Teams are in love with Mikey Sainrstil.

Dallas may go QB in the first with Prescott's contract expiring next year.

New Orleans have been linked to Offensive Lineman on Day 1.

Part III: Individual players

Byron Murphy may go in the top 15 of the draft.

Graham Barton may go higher than Amarius Mims as well as Tyler Guyton.

Kool-Aid McKinstry will be selected in the late first round.

Braden Fiske may sneak into the first round.

Jackson Powers-Johnson may not go into the first round.

Troy Franklin is going upward in the board.

Marshawn Kneeland could go into the first round.

No Safeties or Linebackers will go day 1.

T'Vondre Sweat will fall out of day 2 due to his arrest but is still on Houston's big board.

Jermaine Burton's personality may cause him to slip as far into day 5.

Adisa Isaac will be selected in day 2.

Andru Phillips will as well.

Ja'Lynn Polk is rising up draft boards and will go on Day 2.

Javon Baker, Javon Foster, Sedrick Van Pran, Mohamed Kamara, are all seen as Day 3 picks.

Spencer Rattler will go in round 4.

Some interesting stuff in here.  Bolded what I found notable/related to us.

Damn, Burton on day 5? What’s that, Waterboy? I mean post day 3 and into day 4 is UDFAs.

Was a typo - the OP corrected it later but yeah, Burton has some character concerns.  Have seen that mentioned by more than just a few spots (The Athletic, Ringer, and here to name a few)

3 first round picks for the #4 pick in the draft? That ain't happening.

They're just posturing - I highly doubt they trade.  If anything they take Marv Jr and use their crap ton of capital to move up in the first for Verse or Latu.

In yesterday's locked on Panthers podcast, Council said he's hearing and seen reported the Panthers are locked in on taking a WR with pick 33. And I really hope that's just a smokescreen, especially if the centers drop out of the first round.

I don't know If that's a good thing. At the very least these rumors of an overly obvious obsession/early reports  remind of last draft. Debate what you will but everyone saw the year CJ had vs Bryce.

Going by what we've heard thus far it would seem like they're locked in on Legette

Not sure that there is any threat of him going in R1 unless someone makes a surprise pick.

It's not a good thing. Never tip your hand unless you're sure you can't be beaten. Nobody could jump them for a QB last year. That's not the case this year as other teams can jump the Panthers by moving back up into the late 1st round.

    • I don't need my QB to have arm talent for me to like them, but I do put a lot of weight to how it can affect that player's max potential when it's as bad as Bryce's is, particularly when combined with his overall size.  Even the most ardent Bryce supporters can't honestly deny that Bryce is likely to have the weakest arm of all starting QB's his entire career, maybe some year's he's only in the Bottom 5, but short of pumping steroids, that's never going to change. I'm not a historian of the league on QB's arm strength compared to others, but how many players with that weak of an arm compared to the rest of the league, also was an above average QB for a sustained period of time? I know Brees didn't have a great arm and that's the comparison people like to use for Bryce, but again, he's smaller and weaker armed than even Brees was, and Brees is one of the biggest outliers in NFL history as is.  Which is why Bryce was also betting on him becoming THE biggest outlier in league history at the position.  Bryce doesn't need to become any certain type of QB for me to like him or to be considered a success.  But he does need to become a QB who raises the play of your team, who can drag you to wins when needed, and has you as a contender in more years than not (all teams have down years, but the great QB's have their teams winning playoff games more years than not). It's why I didn't want to draft Bryce, because I just never did, and still don't, think he has that potential in him for a long period of time and at a high level.  Can we put the perfect team around him and we get the right schedule in any given year for a player like him to lead us to a high seed and maybe make a run, sure of course.   But those teams don't have sustained success because it takes the perfect combination of rookie contracts and lucky picks/signings that all pan out at the right time.  They have a great regular season, flame out in the playoffs, and then go back to being that team that either just misses the playoffs or just makes it in to lose in the first round every year.  Picking in the 13-20 range every year, always missing out on the true elite talent in the draft but still not contending. Is that who fans want us to become?  I know it's better than what we've been for a while, but I want better for my team, I love our Panthers and I want us to win the Super Bowl. Prove me wrong, I want to be wrong, I don't want to be stuck in NFL purgatory, I don't want to need to have to find a new QB in 2 or 3 years because we still can't get into the playoffs. But I am who I am, and I am someone who doesn't keep his team colored glasses on at all times to only looks at the positive, I look at realities and call them how I see them.  And I see Bryce as our path to NFL purgatory at best right now and it scares the living hell out of me. Bryce, prove me wrong.
    • I miss Luvu, haha.  Chinn too, but really we hadn't used him well since his rookie year.
