I was at a Checkers Hockey game years ago at the "I" (Independence Arena) and Chubby Checker (the team's mascot) got into a opposing player that was in the penalty box. The guy was standing on the seat and trying to hit Chubby with his stick. (Like you are going to hurt a guy who is wearing 3 feet of foam, come on!)

The refs threw them both out! First time in the history of the ECL that a mascot ever got evicted!
