You can't not be impressed with Canales so far. He has the energy and charisma in spades and he knows his stuff about the ins and outs of the game.

Of course what we need to know is how he coaches on GameDays. That's only where it really matters.

He has a tough job ahead of him. But if he can bring back a culture here that is not about accepting losing that's a start.

i know that he's not Cam Newton, but i think what cam did for the morale and culture of the team when he got here is kind of what we're going to see from Canales.

that said, i'd rather have rookie Cam again...the player and especially the presence...but i can see Canales doing some good to elevate the team.

Henry isn't a small guy...but he sure looks like it next to that mountain. 70 pounds difference shows up.

I don’t feel bad about him.

I think people need to accept that you are looking at a guy that has never done the job before, and it is a huge and much different job than he has experience with.

LoL, somewhat. When I was working during High School I had a few girls who wanted to, and these are their words, corrupt me, when they found out I was a PK.
My sheltered self didn’t know how to deal with it.

I am Blessed with an Amazing small church that just overflows with the love of Christ.  Tight knit church family.  They also operate a non profit (all volunteers) coffee shop. All proceeds go to outreach especially, local charities. Local church missions.  Abroad mission trips.  My church has a HUGE impact upon it's community.   I hate not being around it in general.  I have never met 2 more accepting and loving people on this planet, than my Pastor and his wife.   The most beautiful love I've ever seen. Truly God's love.

I'm not sorry about posting this here... just had to brag on my church.

    • Watching Rams/Eagles. Celebrating the St Louis Rams team that won the SB (Warner, Holt, etc..) while playing in Los Angeles seems wrong.  If I were in Los Angeles, no way I would attend a Rams game.  Probably wouldn't attend a Chargers game either.  Becoming a fan of a team that likes to move around just seems like a waste of energy as a fan.
    • The only responses I am getting after providing statistics to put opinions in perspective seem to be from people who get angry and attack stats and people whose opinions differ from their own.  Have people on the Huddle ever overreacted, exaggerated, been wrong about players before?  Sure they have, so an alternative opinion with statistical support should not cause you to attack me or my views.  I am sorry your public schools failed you.  But your reactions are very revealing--you are stuck in Piaget's concrete operational stage--learn logic, how to debate a topic, and learn the difference between facts and emotional opinions.  When I paralleled Cam's stats with Jones' to point out how remarkably similar their careers have been to this point, It blew some 40 watt minds.  I think Jones, in a better situation, could be good--that should not upset you--
    • penalties and poor hands is what cost us in the RZ Bryce missing "high" in the back of the end zone is not an issue, you're taught as a QB to throw high in the back of end zone were only the receiver can catch or no one The duo of Ian Thomas and Tommy tremble can both go at the end of the season, both been here for multiple seasons and they've barely developed
