People can’t seem to grasp that Young’s deficiencies were, along with having Brown design the offense, major reasons we saw the offensive dysfunction that we did from preseason onwards. They were trying to cover him up and all they could do was outlets and throwaways and screens and the safest shortest stuff they could. 

 

Has anyone EVER heard a coach say that they were just gonna try and get through the year and address his mechanics in the offseason? It seems clear that it was so much worse than they had anticipated. 

I have never heard anything like that come from a pro coach about a 1st round pick. Ever.

Remember when you claimed Bryce never worked privately with his receivers last offseason? Then when you were presented with an article and photos showing just that, you called it a fake photo op? Remember continuously suggesting that Bryce is shorter than his official height taken at the Combine? I've NEVER heard a coach say "we're going to put them in IMPOSSIBLE situations" lol Frank also said that. What kind of a coach puts his players in impossible situations ON PURPOSE?? Bryce didn't stand a chance, he will be much improved this season and and some will still want him gone. It is what it is

I don't remember that. If he said that I’d like to know the context because it is not real easy to understand what that’s about.

He said it during the pre season when the offense was looking like garbage. He said they were purposely putting the offense in impossible situations

So they put him in tough situations and he couldn't figure it out? So they probably said he's not getting it let's just play it safe and rely on defense. Cam would welcome the challenge and find a way to make it work despite being surrounded by jags on offense. Do you want the coach to take it easy on Bryce in camp or something? Confused

That makes NO sense lol. Your job is to put your players in the best position to be successful!! The OPPOSING coach is supposed to make it difficult not you lol
