Caps coming out of this one with no points is massive in regards to the playoff picture.

At least momentarily, the Islanders occupy the final metro spot.

Caps still got the game in hand though. Not sure if the islanders do too or not.

MSF on bottom cause they allowed both goals but I don’t put the first one on them, that was all Pyotr, second one I do put on them. Our “team” offense is not been there for the past few games. KK not on bottom of non-contributing(goals for or against) line for once. 
 

Obviously Caps were 90% Ov and Strome + goalie. 
 

Also just noticed Pesce literally played perfect expected and against defense. So giving up a goal is his xAgainst now apparently.

So I need to be real with everyone… Burns is struggling a bit. A lot of it is with turnovers or failed clearances, we need to get that poo tightened up.

Also, Orlov - Chatty is a dominant pair. Time to lock Chatty up.

I’m waiting for the video of Rod’s locker room speech. If Svech is standing in the back then I’ll know for sure that “illness” just means healthy scratch.

Just got home boys.  37 skated in warmups. Looked healthy.  Rod benched him. Pretty sure Svech got a penalty in press row….just kidding!  But this is unlike rod. But we are in cup season mode.  
 

My thoughts tonight. Burns is massively up and down. He has some atrocious turnovers lately. Tonight, Koochie bailed him out. Honestly, I’m know gutz had three points(2goals and 1 assist) and Koochie only faced 15 shots, half those caps shots were high dangers.  Koochie was the star.  
 

Terrible 1st. Ok 2nd. Elite 3rd.  
 

Svech sitting will do him good. KK played just how he does. No penalties. Good defense, zero offense.  
 

Lastly, the cans played the first very half ass. They know they are better than everyone, ESP the caps. They honestly suck minus Ovi. They were playing not get hurt. When our boys turned it on, we’ll, it’s was party time. 
 

I have no clue with this team and what rod is doing but to @Harbingerspoint, tonight was our lines we need along with GOOD Svech.
