What I took away from this was that there were two things that really mean anything...1) hurney at least respects the fans enough to get on the radio and get yelled at by idiots, that's more than I would do.

2) this is the most important...the panthers WILL be drafting a WR in the upcoming draft!!! The question now is who will it be and when?

Hurney: Yeah but we were 12-4. Doh that was two years ago. But I mean we are good. And we have a plan. Just wait and see. I mean we were 12-4...

Meanwhile the Colts have had how many 11 win seasons in a row? Seven? I know...Manning. But still. Sorry, Hernia, you can boast all you want when you piece together a team that wins back to back winning seasons...and that's just for starters.

And all these other people saying we're spoiled and should be thankful we're not the Browns, etc. Sorry...I want a winner. Going to the Super Bowl in 2004 does not hold me over for decades to some like it will Aints fans. We have a good team, but not great. I hope one day Hurney can work with JR and the coaches to make us great.

At least he admitted a #2 WR is a must...but sad he wanted nothing to do with Brandon Marshall.

you are very correct, sir...

however, his point is that since a guy who definitely talks to JR a couple times a week who is on the radio taking questions from fans.. will receive the message and perhaps deliver that message to JR.. since, of course, Hurney comes across the path of the Panthers owner once or twice in a month... or a couple times a week..

I do wish that fans spent more time giving Hurney the tough questions that he himself has to make, instead of the easy one for Hurney to waste time dodging since he, himself, does not make that decision about ticket prices..
