I think bringing in a younger WR coach will really help for Jarrett. I think he can step up. He has a huge frame and big wingspan. He's slow out there, but I think it's more of a motivation issue than a performance issue.

Even on the highlights he seems to be playing pretty lazily, but he can still make the grabs because he knows how to position his body so that the corner is more or less just out of reach.

He also needs to work on his footwork and changing direction.

Love the video and I can't wait to see Jarrett get some balls (pun intended)...and for those who say that he excelled againts saints backups I just want to name a few guys who were "second string scrubs" that were starting for the panthers...matt Moore, Dwayne Jarrett, Jeff schwartz, mackenzy bernadeu, Hollis Thomas, James Anderson.

Point is that everyone is a game away from being a starter. I know it wasn't the saints who won the super bowl but it was still NFL caliber competition.

Dwayne Jarrett. Hmmm, One of two things are going to happen after Week 3 next season. People will be yelling "Start Dwayne Jarrett!" through the streets like they did for Moore last season, or they will be calling for his job.

haha, yeah, smith at the end of that was a "wtf?" moment. but i think this will be a breakout year for jarrett IF the panthers can get a good slot receiver in the draft, which i think they will. it's gonna be one hell of a season to remember.

look at some of those grabs, jake threw that thing high and jarret still went up to make the catch ( In traffic in a few of em ), Ive said it every season and Ill say it this one last time, I think Jarrett can make it in the league and this season will prove it.
