You know the main goal of this is driven by increasing scoring cause gamblers and younger fans prefer 49-35 games to 20-17 ones. So sick of this BS, not long ago it was impossible to change rules yearly, now they can not stop adding a few each year.....just stop. 

Im as close to leaving the NFL as I have been, only remaining issue is the Panthers and tepper has worked on that!! I cannot quit the panthers........

I like it. Kickoffs will actually be exciting again ... which they haven't for years and years.

I liked this style kickoff in the XFL. It brought kickoffs back to being a relevant play.

I think this rule will be fun.  People always reactive negatively to change so not surprised.

At least the fair catch went away.  That was stupid.  Honestly, it's a step towards the old KO, just the amount of open field to build up a full head of steam is taken away, thus less injuries.  I think this format will entice more returns.  That part I like.  Last year's KO's were so boring.

Right? It's like when they moved the XP back however many yards. Makes it more interesting and takes an afterthought play and makes it matter more.

I'll admit a part of me misses the old "wedge busters" on teams kick off units. Despite it being ridiculously dangerous it was entertaining to watch.
