I'm a born again christian, not scared to admit it......but I do not push my religion on anyone else, and feel that sometimes I don't live my life to share my beliefs withs others......that would be highly hypocritical of me. But lets not bash peoples religion here....this is a football forum, besides this stuff should go to the tinderbox. Who really cares what religion you practice or believe in....this is about football! I happen to be very good friends with 2 muslim guys at my work, and we know we have our religious differences, but that doesn't stop us from hanging out going to games, bowling etc. they are just like 2 ordinary guys. being a christian is all about having compassion and not trying to go around shoving religion down peoples throat, despite what you see on t.v. it gets to be too much sometimes, but i never question my faith.

It's good that you're like that, but for every one of you there is another that is pushy about it... even inside churches there are people who look down on others because they don't do as much or attend as much... I've seen it first hand.

It's because Christians are -- and should be -- held to a higher standard than the rest of society. If you profess to be a follower of Christ, then you've got to live by those teachings every day. Of course, that's an incredibly hard thing to do -- but you certainly can't just routinely go to church every Sunday and then act like an asshole the rest of the week. This is why I was at one point so disgusted with Christianity.

Thats the hardest thing to do.....walking the walk. i mean, its a struggle everyday, but i try to do my best. not just in christianity, but probably in ALL religions. i will probably never live up to my own standards, but i'm cool with that because i know i atleast try......i'm sure each religion has its own ups and downs....its hard to keep the faith hanging around people from the huddle.......lol

I don't want The Golden Calf of Bristol on the Panthers, but the story sounded fishy when I heard it. Now The Golden Calf of Bristol himself says that he said no such thing and gave names of other people who were in the room that can back him up.

And honestly, while I'm not a Florio basher, it wouldn't be the first time something untrue made it onto his page.

This is the hypocrisy of "Christians" today... You can have all the rights you want as long as nothing takes away from your Jesus stuff...

It is the same as an actor accepting an award and thanking God... It is nothing more than appealing to the masses... What about the people that didn't win? Did God just decide to poo on them for the day?
