I would have told The Golden Calf of Bristol to "shut the f**k up" too because, if God had any bearing on the Wonderlic, why the hell do people like Chris Gamble fail it miserably and go on to be successful on the field?

If he's such a preacher's boy and loves God so much, why doesn't he give up his pursuit of millions of worldly dollars and dedicate his life to his cause?

Um, prayer is not always about asking for God to help you with the task at hand. A lot (probably even most) of the time it's about thanking God for the opportunity that has been put in front of you. When people point to the sky after TD's, it's most habit, but also to thank the Lord for their abilities.

As far as money goes, he has a lot of his life after football to dedicate to his cause. Right now he is trying to accomplish what his childhood dream. In doing so, he will have the financial backing to do nearly any good he wants to when he is done with the NFL.

And no I am not at all religious. I consider myself an Agnostic. I do not believe in God currently, but do not deny the possibility of his existence. Step down from your high horse.

I'm pretty sure this didn't happen. At least from what I've read, the original story was untrue. Apparently he only asked Max Hall. If I'm wrong, then he was definitely wrong to do it.
