i agree, and when i say i appreciate your arguments, i really mean it. i'm of the opinion that there is little difference between theism and agnosticism if one truly examines the scope of each with an open mind. anyone who has really thought it through, done the research, etc. cannot possibly confess to believing in a god or gods without also confessing a significant amount of doubt as to that deity's existence. moreover, one who has searched and found there to be no evidence of a god or gods cannot possibly fully exclude the possibility that a deity exists.

i believe there's a god, but i am fully disgusted by the religious masses who take religion at face value and refuse to face the existentially dangerous questions that you and i clearly have. i think you'll find our final conclusions different, but the grounds upon which we got there are quite the same.
