Tebow's pre-Wonderlic prayer request falls flat

It seems that SLJ has some issues with God that need to be resolved. If he didn't he would waste his time typing on a forum about how peoples beliefs are hilarious.

yes, because I don't accept everything that is fed to me... I'm the one with issues...

The man Jesus Christ has had a profound impact that cannot be denied. If you do not believe that he existed there are historically references (other than the BIBLE) that verify he did exist. Weather or not you believe everything else is up to you.

Actually, no there aren't... Don't even try to go that route or I will bury you in your own ignorance...

Weather it happened or not The Golden Calf of Bristol had the right to ask for a prayer as much as the next guy has a right for his comment. Although I will say that the comment was not needed and he could have been the better man and ignored the statement and go on with his business.

So, should you not heed your own advice and resist the temptation to address me personally? I haven't called anyone's name here aside from Mr. Scot, and that was not in an attack form. I have painted with a broad brush, and if some paint got on you, then maybe you shouldn't have stood in the way...

Unfortunately that is the way young people are brought up now a days to disrespect others and make fun of people.

Yeah, because old-school thought has worked so well for our country... You don't know poo about me, nor my parents, so have a glass of shut the fug up and kiss my ass...

I am a Christian and I have the right to worship as much as you have to right to not so don't judge me about how I worship and I wont judge you about how you do not.

Worship all you want... Waste your life away for all I care... No skin off my back, until you try and tell me how I haven't had a good upbringing, or try to psychoanalyze me... oh wait, you already did those... Typical for "Christians"...

Hmm.....that sound a lot like those Christians that try to shove their beliefs down other throats. Guess you're no different than them after all. You really love to take your own medicines. :P

Please, point out where I have stated my personal beliefs and asked for your acceptance... All you see is my perceived disagreement with your belief, and you shut down and don't know how to react....

. And we don't have a Muslim player on the team if you're refering to Moose. His dad converted to Islam when Moose was 2 & gave him the Muslim name, despite Moose's Christian beliefs.

Who f**king cares? Moose also got caught with weed and a gun... I bet that makes him a great Christian, right?

No, they encourage people to not believe in a God like themselves. They're just being clever with that "learn on your own" excuses.

Wow, you are seriously going to argue about knowledge being a bad thing? You're obviously too far gone to open your own mind... Do you serve on the Texas board of education?

BS. If that is true, what you call this in bold, huh? Especially when there are many here who believe the Bible as a truth, whom you call "idiot".

Please... PLEASE cite for me any example of the Bible directly influencing human progression and somehow explain the numerous contradictions found within it... If you believe everything in the Bible to be literal truth, then you truly are an idiot... As I said earlier, the quote you put in bold was not directed at anyone... If you took offense, then you should analyze yourself before you waste your time trying to nitpick my arguments...

Many claim sciences does have all the answers. They claim it how they have proof God doesn't exist, when science can't answer something like that. One that been around for years before those who claim God isn't real were even born.

I'm sorry that you feel there are people out there that claim science has all the answers, because I say AGAIN, that I am not one of them...

And it sickens me some militant atheists make big deal about people's belief & bash them for believing in it when they said we shouldn't bash other for not sharing our beliefs. That make many of them as hypocrite asshat.

Militant atheists? LOL

That last sentence was incoherent, btw...

Oh really?? Then explain me about Stalin. He is a murderer & committed many act of terror. And guess what? He is an atheist. His partner Vladmir Lenin is as well. Don't try to act like only religions cause some of the worst events in human history when non-religions are guilty of that as well.

I never said it was only religion, nor did I act like it... Religions are used as a tool in the majority of them though... I'm sure you've heard of the Holocaust, the Crusades, the Inquisition, the Salem Witch Trials, etc... Sorry, but that side of religion is not the fluffy bunny you want us all to believe either...

I don't need you to tell me how to live my damn life & try to make me follow your path. I'll believe what in my heart, not my head. You whine & complain that religious people shove their beliefs down other people's throat, but you're doing the same thing on the other side right there. Don't be a hypocrite. :mad5:

lol whatever dude... Get some reading comprehension skills and open your mind... or, just shut the f**k up...

...and might I point out it was, in fact, PantherDude that really originally drew me back to this thread with his Tommy Jone response

If he's such a preacher's boy and loves God so much, why doesn't he give up his pursuit of millions of worldly dollars and dedicate his life to his cause?

Maybe because he love football since he was a boy & they make good money. Not everyone who love God (including me) give up some money to dedicate their life for their cause.

I don't really care if the story is true or not, because honestly, I could imagine it really happening...

The story is not true though. The site took the comments out of content. And you imagine it could happend? Just like some believing in God?

The Golden Calf of Bristol is a joke... as are those so in love with him...

Real classy there with calling other who are in love with him as a joke. You're no different with being in love with a greedy player name Pep & was so sure he was going to stay. I thought atheists are suppose to be good people & not be hateful like some extreme religious people are.

But thank again for bashing me & other who believe in God when you don't as always. I guess it ok for atheists to bash people's belief, but they don't think religious people should bash them for not being a believer in return? See a pattern there??

So basically:

...you are in love with The Golden Calf of Bristol

...it is okay to "get money" when you are being called to a higher authority

...Pep was greedy and I was wrong about him returning

...you still label me as an atheist, when I have stated I am agnostic numerous times

...you need a dictionary, and a few lessons in elementary English
