When are we going to get a TE?

Worked so well for us last year! No idea why we aren’t rushing out there to sign another especially so with few areas of needs on the team!/s

This wasn't a very good TE FA class. Better to spend resources on better players at other positions than just to grab a joe and throw him in because we have a hole.

If we don't upgrade in FA, but we keep building like we are, we're likely to get a better TE in the draft than we would have had we settled for meh talent in FA.

The way we improved so many other positions makes this not a huge concern for me.

We already have TEs that are in the same average tier, whether slightly above or below.

We have a young TE with upside that has arguably been unexplored or untapped due to horrible coaching the last couple of seasons.

We can arguably get a prospect in the draft that has more upside than overpaid free agents.

We only have so much money.

Too slow on the draw.  While other teams were gobbling up TES the first day of FA, we were signing guards.  The pickings are very slim now.

Guards were the bigger deal for us by far.

And the talent at TE just wasn't there.

We went the right direction.

TEs that got gobbled up we're overpaid.
