No official word if we are morning skating or not today but one would think Pyotr gets the net. Doubt we see any line changes, still no word on Drury timeline.

Toronto coach confirms Illya will still be in net tonight. The other Illya is expected to go as well I should add.

Beat Toronto earlier this year 3-2, scored a PP goal and had a 100% PK.

Carolina allowed 2 goals on 28 shots, if I remember.

Samsonov a lot like the last 2 goalies Carolina faced in Shesterkin and Bobo- big guys who can be beat high glove. But the Necas goal was low blocker/far post and Kuznetsov looked like he tee'd it up and took enough time to tell Bobo, "Go ahead and get set, I'll blow this one by you regardless;" and went low blocker.

Pyotr, who I expect will be in goal tonight, had 25 saves on 27 shots.

Kuzy has ice water in his veins some if he gets the puck and time in front of the goalie he's fine with a stare down....

Per Walt it’s a UBI and Lemieux will draw in instead with Fast heading to the Aho line in line rushes…
 

I’d prefer Jarvis move to Aho and Fast get some time on the MSF line though.

The times RBA has moved Fast to the top line has been against more physical teams and was a little surprised he didn't do it against Florida the other night. Regardless, that top line better produce tonight, because the Guentzel/Necas/Kuz line looks like they can do some serious damage, and they're still working on "chemistry," lol...

The Leafs aren't exactly all that physical nice having an Lemieux in to go with Reaves if needed though
