Panthers signed S Jordan Fuller, formerly of the Rams, to a one-year contract.

Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the deal is worth “up to” $5.25 million. Fuller started all 17 games for the Rams last year. He broke up eight passes stole three interceptions, and forced three fumbles. Fuller was a key contributor on a Rams defense that beat expectations in 2023. He should take over a starting role for the Panthers this year.

For those who were disappointed we retained Evero instead of fully cleaning house: this is part of what Evero brings...his connections.  I'm sure a big selling point was reuniting with his old DB coach.

Yep

Matching most of the other defensive players they've picked up this week.  Young player given a cheap 1 or 2 year deal. 

Smart I guess. They're clearly using the 2024 season as a trial run to see who they should keep and pay vs let go.

Nobody was. People did have issue with tepper sticking his nose in things and making canales keep evero. If canales wanted him with no badgering from tepper, then theres no problem
