Good point. Fox went on to talk about The Golden Calf of Bristol’s intangibles at length. He was at The Golden Calf of Bristol’s workout and there’s been a lot of speculation about the Panthers perhaps drafting The Golden Calf of Bristol. My take on that? It’s a smokescreen. The Panthers will add a quarterback at some point -- in free agency or the draft. The Golden Calf of Bristol’s a project and they need someone who can play right away in case Matt Moore isn’t what the Panthers hope he is.

"I'd say he's up there pretty good," Fox said with a smile.

"I think he's different in a good way. He has a lot of respect among his peers. They won a lot of games at Florida. He kind of had a similar background in high school, where he took a team to a state championship. In Florida, that's a pretty big deal.

"You look at those things and he's shown the ability to lead men, albeit young men, but they're still men. In fact, that might be harder."

Per a league source, after the person administering the test to The Golden Calf of Bristol's group had finished, The Golden Calf of Bristol made a request that the players bow their heads in prayer before taking the 50-question exam.

Said one of the other players in response: "Shut the f--k up." Others players in the room then laughed.

Just thought I'd share that. It's part of the package if you draft him, and it made me lolol a bit. I don't dislike the guy, he just has some growing up to do.

As to the smokescreen thing, I think the way Fox/Hurney and Co. interact with the media has very little to do with who they actually pick. This guy has a specific spot on their board just like he does on 31 other teams. Fox is just verifying that spot and having a little fun with it. I will say he fits Fox's profile of exactly what a QB should be, execpt for, you know, the throwing a football part.

Watch us draft him and Queen City Appliance sell a bunch of replacement tvs at the end of April.

Yeah The Golden Calf of Bristol is a def. a smoke screen along with us talking to Dunlap and putting him through individual workout. We will def. be addressing those positions come the draft but we wont be taking The Golden Calf of Bristol and hopefully not Tim Hiller either. Hiller sucks...Ive watched more than probably anyone else here in the huddle of Hiller (unless theres other MAC conference fans here) and he really struggles with his accuracy in clutch situations. Kind of locks onto a WR when making his reads, telegraphing the pass to defenders.

LeFevour should be given a hard look at and I honestly would like for us to take a look at Skinner from Fordham.
