What will Dionte Johnson’s attitude be on the Panthers?

Question(s) guys.

If Johnson comes in do you think he immediately becomes our #1?

Does this effectively make Theilan our slot WR (#2 or #3)?

What role does Mingo play?

Do we still make drafting a WR our top priority in round 2? Or do we focus on another need like DB, LB, C, S, DL, or TE?

Too much is made of how receivers are labeled. I this case he's currently the best on our roster so the makes him by default our "1", like it matters. Usually the best receivers on any team are their "1", or go to guy.

I think thus far, the FA has been fairly solid for the Panthers and should be able to play somewhat competitive football next season.  That said, the optimist in me thinks this team is only a C, DB, Edge, WR, TE, RB and possibly QB away from competing for the division.

Reality says in round 2 pick BPA who is not a kicker, long snapper or mascot and they get an A/B draft grade.

He wasn’t happy with the QB there, but he is going to be happy with this one. That’s what people are saying.

Good. The one here needs to be held to a standard and if we brought someone in that would enforce that, all power to him. Horses for courses.

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
