Best of luck to you. This is a scary time to think that you might be looking for a job. You sound like you have some integrity and probably deserve something better. Hope you find it soon.

Keep us posted. Hope it turns out better than you think....but keep looking, even if it does.

If you don't already, update the me' and be prepared for the worst.

Don't waste more than a week getting the word out.

If you are not on facebook, get on there. You will need every network you can muster in this current economy.

Other side of the story is that I actually have been looking for a new job for the past 45 days. I would guess that I have applied to around 200 jobs found online. Of those 200, I have actually been on one face to face interview and had around 10-15 emails/call backs.

Truth be told, I have great sales experience for what I am trying to do, however, I do not have direct experience dealing with the particular clientele that I want to work with. However, I am volunteering my time outside of work to gain experience in the field that I want to move into.

I have updated resume/LinkedIn/facebook. I have even reached out to many different headhunters and pay to access websites with 100k sales jobs only available to members.

In this economy it is all about who you know. Right now people dont care about experience. I've lost jobs oppertunities because people feel more comfortable hiring people they know over experience.

BTW good luck hope you dont lose your job.
