A trade down might sound crazy but...

hear me out. The Jacksonville Jaguars are desperate to draft The Golden Calf of Bristol. They feel his hometown hero worship will salvage their bottom line and spare them being moved to LA LA Land. They are far from a complete team but with a top 10 pick and some pretty good young pieces they could still compete.

I will be using the time honored and ignored value chart. With the value in ( )

The rub is we offer our 48th pick (420Pts) for Clint Ingram 27yr old OLB (3rd round tendered FA) the 73rd pick (225Pts) and as a sweetener the 5th round pick 142nd pick (35Pts.)

With this trade the Jags can walk away from the first day with The Golden Calf of Bristol and DEZ BRYANT ok if they can't sell tickets with those two they need to be moved.

Our draft picks would look like this.

3a.

3b.

4.

5.

6a.

6b.

6c.

7.

Some may think it silly to pass on the 2nd round talent but i like adding more picks for a smart group to scour the mid rounds. In this deep draft i think the Panther's could find some real gems. Plus we need backups more than starters.

I like the idea of trading down with our original pick. There is great value in the 3rd and 4th. We need a ton of picks if we want to fill most of the holes before FA.

I wouldn't mind trading next year's 1st as well. Maybe more multiple picks or just straight up for a high 2nd.

I hear ya a combination of trading our 2011 first to say the Chiefs and my other proposed trade would be some wheeling and dealing. The Chiefs could give us a 4th also.

The Chiefs know they are gonna suck for awhile. In the 2011 draft they could have TWO 1st round picks. Not only that they have another 2nd.

2. 3a. 3b. 4a. 4 b. 5. 6a. 6b. 6c. 7.

10 draft picks. After that i MIGHT not have to hear no more crying about holes in the roster.

That way we actually assure we have a chance at a top WR and still fill other needs. I am getting carried away obviously. I like the prospect of adding a 2nd round WR with our original pick and if you have read any other threads i have been a part of you will know that. BUT..i smell desperation in the Jacksonville camp and would like to take advantage. This is a deep and talented draft. I would really like to see what our FO could do with all this ammo.

From where we are in the mid 2nd to all the way to the bottom of the 2nd I don't think many WRs will come off the board. Maybe 1 or 2, just going by the teams needs that are there.

Jags are 10 spots down in the 3rd and I think alot of WRs will start coming off quickly at the top of the 3rd. It makes sense for the Jags to trade up for The Golden Calf of Bristol, I just wouldn't want to trade down that far.

Bottom of the 2nd would be as far as I would go. Vikings might want to trade up if The Golden Calf of Bristol or McCoy is at our spot. I'd rather take their late 2nd and late 3rd than what you suggested.

You would be getting reamed on that trade. Crimson&CloverTide. Dwayne Jarrett could have put up numbers with David Garrard. Sims-Walker is nice but only played 9 games last year.

RED FLAG. And then you are gonna take a Kicker with the acquired pick? Your JOKING right?

3a. Andre Roberts WR / Citadel = hands

3b. Dan Lefevour QB / CMU = could give the Panther's wildcat some teeth

4th. Daniel Te'o Nesheim DE / Washington = Mathis?

5th. Antonio Brown WR/KR / CMU = kick returner

6th. Earl Mitchell DT / Arizona = undersized under tackle

6th.Barry Church SS / Toledo = special teams and in box SS

6th. Mike Kafka QB / Northwestern = backup QB practice fodder

7th. Rico McCoy OLB / Tennessee = backup OLB

7th. Leigh Tiffen K / Alabama = big legged kicker

Oh and to the dude with the Osmond having a seizure for his avatar. If the Vikings want Tebone or McBoy to replace Favre they are barking up the wrong tree. There is no way they would give up a 2nd and a 3rd to get McCoy ( a 3rd round prospect ) or The Golden Calf of Bristol ( a 3rd round prospect to everyone but JAX.)

Oh and i forgot that CLINT INGRAM was included in that deal. A SLB starter.
