Peppers makes himself at home

I think people are reading way too much into what Peppers is saying. Basically, all he's saying is that he relishes the privacy he couldn't get here. It shouldn't come as any surprise to anyone since from day one, as it has been discussed ad nauseum that he is a private person and doesn't like a lot of attention. And mentioning other stars and teams in Chicago is only highlighting that he is only one fish in a very big ocean, rather than one of the biggest fish in a small pond...which is true. So he should be able to live his life in peace, without having people watching his every move.

In fact, I haven't heard him say anything particularly negative about Charlotte, or the Panthers, just why he feels Chicago is a good fit for him and what he likes about the team/city.

I think with some of his comments he is burning some bridges in charlotte but I doubt he cares

You're not very good with stat sheets, I guess. He and Jared Allen both finished with 14.5 sacks (tied for 5th), but alphabetically Allen is listed first. Look to the left column beside their names- they're both #5.

And, to really split hairs with you, Pep finished tied for 2nd in Sacks by DE's in 2008 as DeMarcus Ware, James Harrison and Joey Porter are all OLB's

Lol I just went to the front page and checked, didn't bother bringing up the full page. and the point I was trying to make, was just because he's a 'physical specimen' and an 'athletic beast' doesn't mean he's automatically guaranteed to have a monster year. I'm not arguing that he's good or not, I'm saying he's not the best DE as some people see him as.

Peppers being a little presumptious in mentioning his name with the greats of Chitcago.... Its like me mentioning my name in the same breath with John Holmes and Ron Jeremey....He's still a dope, that will never change cause you cant fix stupid.

Ok I'll address the elephant in the room: it's highly likely Peppers is homosexual as well as without a doubt very shy. A small conservative town like Charlotte makes it not only neccesary to conceal the fact that one is gay, it also makes it hard to do so.

All I get from Pep is he just wants to live his life the way he wants, without pretending. A big city like Chicago lets him do so.

As a player, he's a big loss for my team, but I'm glad he was finally able to get out for his sake. Charlotte wasn't his town. Big deal. People need to stop getting so butthurt about this.

Good luck Pep. You won games for us at times near single handedly and were a big reason the Panthers have had the success they had. You were every bit worth the 2nd pick of the draft. May you have success unless you're playing against the boys in Blue and Black.

When's the last time you saw Allen get completely owned by a tight end the way Peppers got owned by Witten in Dallas?

so that makes him better.i dont know bc i dont watch the purps but i think it he got blocked by witten bc of his effort which we all know sometimes he doesnt play with.
