Calvin Ridley realistic or not?

....if we went 13-4 last year and we needed a receiver to put us over the top, I'd say make a play for him. But we are lightyears behind that goal. I'm with the consensus... quit mortgaging the future. Should have built thru the draft starting 5 years ago and we should be dominating the NFC south now.

Got to have legit skill talent for a QB to look legit. 

Look at Trevor from year 1 to year 2.   It wasn't just Urban being bad.  Trevor made a huge jump because of the vast difference in speed and skill talent around him in his sophomore years vs his rookie.   RB, WR, and TE.  All 3 spots saw massive upgrades. 

Our talent was probably better around Bryce than Trevor had his rookie year but it needs a 100% rehaul if you are expecting anything form Bryce IMO.  Backfield, WR, and TE.  If you we are trotting out a Hubbard, Theilen, Tremble and some rookies........ don't' expect Bryce to look anything but a variation of bad.

The 49ers found a QB and should be looking to upgrade from him before they are forced to pay him top end QB money. 

He is fine while on his rookie deal, but wouldn't want any part of him at 50m+ a season.

I know you would be more than happy to sign Purdy to the Panthers and make him the highest paid QB in NFL history.

You would also be dumbfounded when we struggled to win 5 games again.
