Trade? He was never close to being worth what they gave him in that contract. Classic example of good enough on a rookie contract but should have been traded before his rookie deal was up.

I have been saying all along that we need help at CB before this happened.  I worry about Horn's ability to keep from getting injured.  If he demands top dollar, I will be sorta pissed.  If we lose Burns and a starting CB, it could be a bad thing.  Fitterer had no plan for the future, it seems.  Moton getting $30 m in 2024 and 2025, the Burns fiasco....I really thought we'd be in better shape when the dead cap dropped off, but Fitterer seems to have mortgaged the future to go 2-15.  Just my misinformed opinion.

since we likely are not winning poo this year, its best to just ride with motons contract and no restructuring and kicking the can down the road.

Donte is a solid CB who we overpaid for and now because he’s not worth the salary he’s making we have to cut him. Shame cuz he’s actually pretty good

We sure have spent a lot of resources at CB to be so thin there. Horn being made of glass puts us in a real pickle.
