Mid to late March you need to start really dragging the bottom around 12-17 ft off underwater points with deep-diving crankbaits. Let it drag the bottom...get it deep. Hold on.

Spinnerbaits (every color), trick worms, Zoom lizzards, Carolina rigged everything, 3' diving crankbaits, rattle traps, broken back rapalas, brush hogs, various top water lures, swim baits............................................

I use a worm and cork and catch all I can use.
