This right here is what scares me. I'm really, REALLY hoping a Florida team reaches for him before he falls into the "sound business decision" category for us. We're also almost perfectly set up for him, having a decent starter QB in place and a beastly running game.

:(

C'mon Jax, think of the ticket sales.

Your acting like getting a potential superstar is a bad thing. I think if you let The Golden Calf of Bristol sit like Moore or better yet Aaron Rogers for a couple of years and he works to get better on his mechanics and footwork, like we all know he will, he could be a special QB.

Hes got the intangibles, the size, was one of the best athletes period at the combine, above average arm strength, and a tremendous work ethic. I wouldn't bet against him succeeding in the NFL just due to his work ethic. While I wouldn't pick him unless Bay Bay Thomas or Gilyard are gone, I sure wouldn't mind getting him.

And your right this team is set up perfectly for The Golden Calf of Bristol. Let Moore play this season. If he continues like he did at the end of last year extend him and we have a cheap (only a mid 2nd round pick) but very versatile and talented backup that would bring credibility to our wildcat formation.

Everyone in the draft is a potential superstar. I don't want this one for quite a few reasons. He's not going to be able to run like he did in college. His arm is just ok. He's an Urban Meyer QB who will have to completely change his mechanics. He's left handed, which has us probably flipping tackles around. About the only real unarguable is leadership and if we wanted a guy with awesome leadership and sketchy everything else we should have just kept Delhomme in the wings.

Don't forget what he brings in the form of the wildcat. I'm not saying I would take him personally but I wouldn't be upset about it. I'm kind of on the fence on this one. On one side I know he is a project that if you try to rush into starting in year 1 he will fold like a house of cards. On the other I see a lot of potential and all his intangibles.

If he makes it to our 3rd I would put money on us getting him and there his intangibles and versatility alone are worth that.

The Panthers will never draft a qb this early so long as Fox and Hurney are running the show. Moore is their guy trust me!! They are waiting to see if we can get someone like LeFevour or maybe Pike later than they are supposed to go... if not we'll probably just resign McCown and go from there.

The Golden Calf of Bristol is no exception. If get another pick for Marshall expect our picks to be DE, WR, or corner. No doubt.

Somebody is going to bite on The Golden Calf of Bristol pretty early I can feel it. He may not go in the first round but he will probably be gone by the time our pick roles around.
